You can play Divx, DVD encoded files, Windows Media 9, digital still images and music files at the touch of a button. Plug in a Terrabyte (1000 GB) SATA disk and your set to have months and months of movies / tv series at your finger tips. Imagine being able to play all your movies you've ever owned on one device whenever you feel like it without having to dig and look for it. All without any loss of quality in both audio and sound. Versitility is what makes the TViX so irresistable. You can play local content from the M-5100SH or from a portable external hard disk that's connected via it's USB port. OR, plug it into your network and you can play files from your PC directly from the TViX to your TV. What about WiFi? Yes, you can plug in a industry standard USB WiFi stick and your able to access your files wirelessly. You can also chose to copy files from your PC to your TViX via it's onscreen GUI. Convenience: You don't need to spend countless hours converting your current DVD library collection to Divx format, just rip it into a single .iso or .ifo file and you'll have all the original features such as subtitles, Menu, Chapter, Audio stream, fast forward, search etc. H.264: The M5100SH plays H.264 files effortless via it's Sigma 8623 chipset. What is H.264? It's the new industry standard encoding of video files otherwise known as MPEG 4 Part 10. It's being used by European / US broadcasting stations for High Definition movies and used by the new Blue Ray DVD standards. Add more space: There are two USB host connectors hence it's possible to add additional space to the TViX via external hard disks, portable MP3 players, Media card readers etc.
