Travelling: If your the type that likes to BLOG or keep a journal, then this GPS will do the trick logging your precise location of where you've been. You'll be able to view your journey using the application that's bundled and see your route via google earth.

Running / Biking: The compact, light weight form factor allows you to strap it to your arm or bike without any problems. The GPS unit is sensitive enough to pick up satelite signals through clothing, hence you can also put it in your backpack or pocket. Tracking your location allows die hard atheletes where they've been and calculate their performance. The software can show the time, distance and speed during your training which is excellent for competitive atheletes whom can track their fitness levels to see where they need to improve at certain stages. Or simply measure their improvements over weeks / months of training.

Car Logging: The logging function works just as well in the car or any high speed vehicle. You can set the log timing interval from 1 second to minutes. It has enough internal memory to log 170,000 points. Hence if you set it to log every second, there's enough internal memory for approximately 47 hours!

Photography: If your camera doesn't support a GPS yet, fear not. The BT-Q1000 software allows you to time sync your photos via EXIF data. (EXIF data is embedded into your JPEG or RAW files) It reads the date and time stamp from your EXIF data and matches that of your GPS log and allows you to automatically embed GPS co-ordinates to your photo files. So now you'll not only know when you took the picture, but which country, state, city, street!

GPS Map Navigation: And of course, not forgeting that this wonderful device also allows you to pair it up with your PDA or laptop to be used as a great GPS navigation tool.

There is a POI button if you wish to mark a spot of special interest to you for later viewing.
